Matthew Mayotte is in his fourth year as the Director of Student-Athlete Services at Troy University. Mayotte's duties include overseeing all aspects of the student-athlete academic support including the tracking and monitoring of academic progress of all student-athletes, oversight of the Trojan Academic Center and academic center staff, SA advisement and course registration, coordination of study hall, and tutoring. He also acts as the CHAMPS/Life Skills coordinator.
Mayotte, a native of Plainville, Connecticut, graduated magna cum laude from Troy University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport and Fitness Management. He received his Master's of Science in Athletic Administration from Troy University in December 2006.
In addition to his role as Director of Student-Athlete Services, Mayotte also acts as liaison for the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee where he has assisted with community service events such as "Read Across America" and the annual canned food drive benefitting families within Pike County.
Mayotte is married to the former Jennifer Plona of Malborough, Connecticut. The couple has one daughter, Kate (14).
