Brian Alewine is a native of Florida, but moved to Troy in 1987 where he attended Goshen High School and graduated in 1996. He received his bachelor's degree from Troy University.
Before returning to Troy, he worked as a high school world history teacher and coach. He currently serves as the Staff Assistant in Student-Athletic Services office where he oversees study hall, works with eligibility for incoming players and active athletes.
He served as a volunteer football coach at Goshen High School. He is married and has a two-year-old son.
