TALLAHASSEE, Florida – The No. 68 Troy men's tennis team continued its brutal schedule on Sunday, dropping a 4-1 decision at No. 29 Florida State at the Scott Speicher Tennis Center.

Troy (1-6) has played every match this season away from home, and all but one have been against a ranked team. That one was just a day ago at Miami, who has three ranked singles players, but is not ranked as a team.

On Sunday at Florida State (6-1), Troy saw the Seminoles sweep double play to grab the opening point. FSU then took a straight sets win at No. 4 singles to go up, 2-0.

Pablo Moreno put the Trojans on the board with a 6-4, 6-1 win over Jose Gracia at No. 5 singles. The Seminoles, however, got wins from both of their ranked players, No. 15 Benjamin Lock and No. 77 Marco Nunez, to grab the 4-1 win.

Next up for Troy is yet another road match against a ranked team, this time at No. 55 Auburn on Friday.
