Gained his first victory in the sixth position against Maxx Lipman at No. 24 Florida in three sets on Jan. 17... Earned a straight sets victory (6-0, 6-0) at Miami on Jan. 30... Picked up another victory over a ranked opponent with a three-set victory over Javier Restrepo of No. 65 UNC Wilmington on Mar. 11.
