Â
Thoughts from Eric Newell
"It's nice to get a series win. We dropped game one and then returned to win games two and three. It shows a lot of resiliency, a lot of grit, a lot of determination. You also can wash things, and I give a lot of credit to the seniors for that. It's not that the underclassmen can't do that, but the seniors have been around the block and have been a part of a lot of conference series over the years. They just have that thick skin. It was a great Sunday for us. We won the series against a tough ULM team. They were hot coming into this game. They had a win streak, I believe, coming into this game. To end that win streak by winning a couple of games Saturday and Sunday, I'm very proud of our girls."
