TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Brantley Scott fired a 1-under 71 to lead Troy in Monday's opening two rounds of the Seminole Intercollegiate at the Seminole Legacy Golf Course. Troy is in 11^th place overall as a team but finds itself just six shots out of fifth place in a congested 14-team field.

Scott's 71 in the second round was his sixth round in the red this season and second in as many tournaments after going 3-under in the Daytona Beach Intercollegiate last week. He is tied for 28^th place individually at 2-over for the tournament after shooting 5-over in the first round of the day. Scott carded five birdies, with four coming during his round of 1-under.

Troy shot matching 10-over 298s in the two rounds and sits a shot back of Mississippi State in 11^th place, while Indiana is just six shots ahead of the Trojans in fifth. Florida State shot 11-under and leads Ole Miss by one shot at the top of the leaderboard.

Jake Springer, Nick Fowlkes and Pablo Gracia are all tied for 43^rd place at 6-over through the two rounds. Fowlkes and Gracia shot 75 across all four of their rounds, while Springer carded a 73 in the morning and 77 in the afternoon.

Gracia led the pack with six birdies, while Fowlkes and Springer had three on the day. Lee Poppell is tied for 70^th place at 11-over following rounds of 75 and 80.

The Trojans were under-par on the day on the par-5 holes as the team played to a collective 2-under par, the fourth best in the field, while Troy's 118 total pars were the third most. Individually, Gracia finished 4-under on the par-5 holes, third best on the day.

The event wraps up play Tuesday with 18 holes beginning at 7 a.m. (CT) as the Trojans will tee off from the 10^th box along with Mississippi State and individual participants.
