GADSDEN, Ala. – Will McFadden shot his third straight round under par to lead Troy in Tuesday's final round of the Graeme McDowell Invitational at the RTJ Silver Lakes Golf Course. Troy finished seventh in the 16-team field, while McFadden finished fourth on the individual leaderboard.

McFadden carded four birdies in his round Tuesday. He opened with a bogey and then pushed his card to 3-under with four birdies over his next 16 holes before a bogey on the 18^th settled his card at 2-under for the day. He finished with a 4-under 212 for the week.

Freshman Brantley Scott had a wild day on the course with seven birdies, including a stretch of six birdies over a nine-hole period, but a triple on the par-4 15^th and a double on the par-4 18^th pushed his card from the red to even-par. It was still a strong week for Scott as he tied for 12^th place overall and tied for the overall lead with 16 birdies over the 54 holes.

No. 36 UAB ran away with the team title winning by 23 shots over Florida Golf Coast. Texas State, ULM and South Alabama rounded out the top five. Troy picked up a pair of wins over Sun Belt rivals Louisiana and Georgia State at the event.

Nicklas Borrmann fired a 4-over 76 with a trio of birdies as he tied for 39^th place, while Jake Springer shot 78 to tie for 56^th place and Kyle Cornelius fired his best round of the week with a 5-over 77 to settle in 86^th place. Playing as an individual, Reagan Harrell tied for 80^th overall.

Troy takes next week off before heading to Georgia State for the GSU Invitational on Oct. 11-12.
