Men’s Golf Wraps Fall at East Bay Deli Classic

TROY, Ala. – The Troy men's golf team wraps its fall schedule at the East Bay Deli Classic at Kiawah Island on Sunday thru Tuesday at the Turtle Point Golf Course; teams will play 18 holes on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.
The Trojans are coming off an eighth-place finish at the rain-shortened Jim Rivers Intercollegiate and a ninth-place finish at LSU's David Toms Intercollegiate. Sophomore Connor Futrell has led the Trojans in each of the last two events and has turned in a par of top-25 finishes in three events this fall. Futrell leads the Trojans with a 72.50 stroke average this season and is one of three Trojans with a pair of rounds under par.
Dean Martin is close behind Futrell with a 74.69 average over five rounds this fall. Jake Tiffin and Will McFadden are tied with Futrell for the team lead with two rounds under par on the year while Brent Hamm is back in the lineup after playing as an individual in the previous event.
