TROY, Ala. – The Troy men's and women's tennis teams will each host its final home match of the season on Tuesday. The men will host Florida A&M while the women will host Alabama State. Both matches will begin at 2 p.m.
Prior to the matches, the Trojans will honor their four seniors, two from each team. The women's team will honor Karoline Grymel and Rosaura Ramirez Vega while the men will honor Patrick Eichler and Anas Rouchdi.
The Troy women (15-4) come into their match riding a 11-match winning streak, the third longest active streak in the country. The Trojans are coming off of a dominant 7-0 win over Florida A&M on Friday.
Troy and Alabama State (4-16) have already met once this season, with Troy winning that match, 7-0, on March 8. That was the fourth win in Troy's current winning streak.
The Troy men (8-14) are coming off of a 5-2 loss at South Alabama on Friday and have lost eight of their last nine matches.
Troy and Florida A&M (9-10) were scheduled to play in late February, and actually begin the match before rain came and canceled the remainder of the match. Troy won the doubles point and had already won two first sets in singles play then the match was stopped. The two sides will start a fresh match on Tuesday.
