Trojans Set to Host New Orleans

TROY, Ala. – The Troy men's and women's tennis teams will each host New Orleans on Sunday at the Lunsford Tennis Complex. Both matches begin at 10 a.m. with FREE admission.
The Troy men (5-6) have won four straight matches entering Sunday, including two on Friday against Alabama State and Alabama A&M. The Trojans are a win away from getting to .500 after starting the season 1-6.
The Troy women (9-4) have won five straight matches entering Sunday. They also defeated Alabama State and Alabama A&M on Friday. The Trojans are a perfect 3-0 at home this season, including a 6-0 win over Jacksonville State last week.
Both of New Orleans' teams are playing at Alabama State on Saturday before traveling to Troy for Sunday's contests. The UNO men (4-4) have lost two straight entering Saturday's match, while the UNO women (2-7) come in after a 6-1 win over Southern Miss.
