Trojan Men Host Nicholls State, Women Travel to Kennesaw State

TROY, Ala., and KENNESAW, Ga. – The Troy men's tennis team will host Nicholls State on Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Lunsford Tennis Complex. Meanwhile, the women's tennis team will travel to take on Kennesaw State on Sunday at 11 a.m. CST.
The Troy men (1-6) played a week ago against Florida A&M, but were unable to finish the match due to rain. The Trojans won the doubles point and were playing well in singles when the rain came.
The Trojans last completed a match on February 21 at Samford, a 5-2 loss. The Trojans have lost six straight since winning their season-opener on the road. Troy is just 0-1 at home with a loss to Southern Miss.
The Troy women (5-4) also played last weekend when they defeated Georgia Southern, 6-1, at home. The Trojans are 3-4 away from home this year with the four losses to quality opponents in Florida State, Auburn, UCF and UAB.
The Nicholls State men's team (6-4) will travel to UAB on Friday before making the trip to Troy. The Colonels enter their Friday match off of a home win over Alcorn State last weekend.
The Kennesaw State women's team (3-4) will take on Georgia State on Friday before hosting Troy on Sunday. The Owls have won three straight entering Friday's match.
