Trojans Travel to Orlando

ORLANDO, Fla. – The Troy women's tennis team will continue a six-match road swing to open the season as the Trojans travel to Orlando, Fla. to take on UCF and Furman this weekend.

Troy will visit UCF on Friday (9 a.m. CST) at the UCF Tennis Complex before playing Furman on the neutral court on Sunday (9 a.m. CST).

Troy (2-1) comes into the weekend after a sweep of two Sun Belt road matches last weekend as the Trojans knocked off UALR and Arkansas State. Troy's lone loss came in a season-opener at No.38 Florida State.

Hannah Toro, Lyubov Dorofeeva and Anja Cosovic all went 2-0 in singles play last weekend to help the Trojans secure the two conference wins. Toro and Cosovic did so in the first conference matches of their careers.

UCF (3-1) is coming off of a 7-0 sweep at Florida Atlantic. The Golden Knights lone loss of the season came on the road at No.1 Florida. UCF is 2-0 at home on the season, defeating Bethune-Cookman and Florida A&M.

Furman (1-1) is coming off of a narrow, 4-3, loss to No.31 Illinois last weekend. The Paladins lone win on the season came against Coastal Carolina. Furman will feature the lone ranked player on the weekend in No.68 Lauren Kline.

Troy's next match will come on Wednesday when the Trojans travel to Auburn before hosting Samford next Saturday in the first home match of the season.
