The Trojans fell to their sixth consecutive ranked opponent to open the season

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The 65th-ranked Troy University men's tennis team fell victim to their sixth consecutive match to a nationally-ranked team, falling to the 38th-ranked University of Miami Hurricanes 7-0 Friday night.
Although Troy (0-6) didn't get credit for a point in the match, they did win in doubles as the number one doubles team of Branko Weber and Mario Rolemberg picked up a 9-7 victory over Miami's Keith Crowley and Christian Blocker.
The other two doubles matches went to Miami as the team of Carl Sundberg and Omar Aly defeated Troy's Anas Rouchdi and Sami Ghorbel at number two, 8-2; while the team of Waylon Chin and Pedro Ast defeated Troy's Mansingh Athare and Niklas Jonsson at number three, 8-3.
Meanwhile, in singles action, Miami swept through all six singles with Anas Rouchdi posing the biggest challenge to the Hurricanes. The sophomore fell to Miami's Christian Blocker at number two; 6-3, 7-5. I
In other singles action, Branko Weber lost to Waylon Chin at number one 6-1, 6-1; Sami Ghorbel lost to Keith Crowley at number three 6-3, 6-2; Mario Rolemberg lost to Carl Sundberg at number four 6-2, 6-2; Niklas Jonsson fell to Miami's Eduardo Pavia 6-4, 6-0; and Jamie Eccleton lost to Miami's Gabriel Flores 6-4, 6-3.
The Trojans travel to College Station, Texas to face 10th-ranked Texas A&M on Sunday afternoon. It will be the Trojans seventh consecutive match against a ranked opponent to start the season.
