Made 16 starts as a true freshman for the Trojans ... Started on Sunday during the first seven Sun Belt weekends and then moved to Saturday following the injury to Drew Hull ... Held South Alabama to seven hits and one run over 6.1 innings in his first career SBC start ... Started four games against NCAA Tournament teams, including against Vanderbilt in the NCAA Regional -- held the Commodores to just one hit over 4.0 innings, but walked three and hit two batters ... Struck out six over 3.2 innings at Louisiana-Lafayette ... Finished the year with a 3-7 record and 4.68 ERA ...
