Two-time Sun Belt Conference Pitcher of the Week as a weekend starter for the Trojans after beginning the year in the bullpen; only the second Troy pitcher to earn the award twice in one season (Andrew Dickinson, 2010) … Earned first award after striking out eight without allowing a walk in 6.1 innings against Middle Tennessee; allowed just two unearned runs and five hits in the game … Tossed a complete game four-hitter at Louisiana-Lafayette for his second weekly honor; allowed one run and struck out two … Made nine starts and 16 appearances in his first season at Troy; first six appearances were all out of the bullpen … Tossed three scoreless innings with five strikeouts and a bloop double in his first start of the season (at Jacksonville State) … Struck out 45 and walked just 18 over 55.1 innings on the season … Over his final three starts of the season (ULL, ULM, South Alabama) allowed just four earned runs and six hits over 20.2 innings (1.74 ERA) … Struck out five in his first Sun Belt appearance which came against Arkansas State in three innings of relief work
