TROY, Ala. – In its final tune-up before the Sun Belt Conference Championship, the Troy women's golf team heads to The Traditions Course for The "Mo"Morial Invitational, hosted by Texas A&M on Monday and Tuesday.
The Trojans are looking to regain some swagger heading into next week's Sun Belt Championship after winning the Huntsville.org Intercollegiate during the first week of March; Troy has finished towards the back of the back in three straight tournaments.
Back from a minor injury, Manya Saini had a strong spring debut for the Trojans, as she tied for 25th place at the ULM Invitational last week and returns to head coach Randy Keck's lineup in Texas.
Victoria Stutts took over the top spot on Troy's season card with her 6-over performance at ULM, she enters the week leading the Trojans with a 3.27 score vs. par and five rounds under par for the year.
Laura Fangmeyer is in Troy's lineup for the 11th time in 11 tournaments this season, while Katelynn Altese returns after playing as an individual at ULM and Alyssa Mercado makes her 10th appearance of the year.
