Women's Golf Concludes Play at FSU Match Up

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Troy women's golf team finished in 12^th place at the FSU Match Up as play concluded Sunday at the Seminole Legacy Golf Course.

Victoria Stutts led Troy on Sunday and for the weekend as she shot 5-over 77 on the day and 12-over for the tournament to finish in 31^st place. She carded one birdie in the final round and finished six birdies and an eagle for the event.

Florida State ran away with the team title, winning by 42 shots over Illinois, while Indiana, Kent State and Missouri rounded out the top five.

Laura Fangmeyer finished as Troy's No. 2 bag on the weekend, shooting 19-over and tying for 51^st place after a 78 on Sunday, with a pair of birdies in a 1-under opening nine holes. Alyssa Mercado tied for 62^nd place at 23-over par, Mathilda Ringblom tied for 65^th place at 26-over and Katelynn Altese finished 70^th at 35-over par.

Troy returns to action March 31-April 1 at the ULM Invitational in Monroe, La.
