Women’s Golf Travels to the Bayou for ULM Invitational

TROY, Ala. – With the Sun Belt Conference Championship looming just a few weeks away, the Troy women's golf team heads to Monroe, La., and the Bayou DeSaird Country Club for the ULM Invitational on Monday and Tuesday.

The tournament marks Troy's 10^th of the season and fifth this spring. The Trojans won to open the month at the Huntsville.org Intercollegiate and are looking to bounce back from a rough weekend last time out at the Florida State Match Up.

Victoria Stutts has led the Trojans in four of the last six events and has Troy's best stroke average this spring, with a 76.83 mark, while Laura Fangmeyer is close behind with a 76.92 average this spring. The pair have combined for seven of Troy's eight individual rounds under par this year and have had 44 or their combined 48 rounds count towards the team card.

Alyssa Mercado and Mathilda Ringblom remain in the lineup for head coach Randy Keck, while Manya Saini, who has Troy's third-best stroke average, returns for the fifth time this season.
