Troy Cross Country Heads to Tuscaloosa for Crimson Classic

TROY, Ala. – Troy cross country prepares for its fourth and final meet of the regular season on Friday, Oct. 17th, at the Crimson Classic in the Harry Pritchett Running Park.
"We are excited to once again compete at the Crimson Classic in Tuscaloosa," head coach Brian Cunningham said. "This will be a good test for our teams, and a good dose of high-level competition before the Sun Belt Championships at the end of October."
Troy is set to take the course at Harry Pritchett Running Park with the men's 8k starting at 8:30 a.m., followed by the women's 6k at 9:20 a.m. The Trojans last competed at the Crimson Classic in 2023.

Troy claimed multiple top 10 finishes at the Azalea City Classic in Mobile. Caden Blackman led the way for the Trojans, finishing third in the men's 7k with a time of 22:58.0, followed closely by Lane Watson in fifth with a time of 23:13.0.
Makenna Calbert paced Troy with a fourth-place finish in the women's 3-mile run with a time of 18:28.50, followed by Arianna Elder in seventh in 18:57.00. Overall, both teams claimed a third-place finish.
