Cross Country Regular Season Comes to an End at FSU XC Invite

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Troy cross country team closed regular season Friday morning at the FSU XC Invite in Tallahassee, Fla., with the men placing fifth with 128 points and the women placing seventh with 233 points.
The Trojans placed fifth overall in the men's 8K with 128 points. Riley Treadaway led the charge for the Trojans, earning 16th with a time of 26:21.50. Caden Blackman (26:29.70), Patterson Graham (26:35.20), and Lane Watson (26:36.80) all earned top-30 finishes, placing 23rd, 27th, and 28th, respectively. Keith Warner rounded out the scoring for the Trojans, finishing with a time of 27:17.00 and earning 45th.
On the women's side, the Trojans earned seventh place in the 6K with a total of 233 points. Winny Kosgei (23:34.50) and Abby Jepkemboi (23:45.70) set the pace for the Trojans, earning 33rd and 40th, respectively, while earning new personal bests. Lucy Turley followed close behind, placing 49th with a time of 24:12.70. Other scorers for the Trojans were Pheline Mining, who placed 77th with a time of 25:10.30, and Giulianna Rivero, who placed 86th with a time of 25:40.50. Both Mining and Rivero also earned new personal bests.
