Troy Finishes Regular Season at Crimson Classic

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Troy cross country teams wrapped up the 2025 regular season Friday at the Crimson Classic, with the men finishing 19th and the women 22nd at the Harry Pritchett Running Park.
Lane Watson led the Trojans in the men's 8.057m, clocking a time of 25:55.4 to place 92nd. Keith Warner followed close behind at 26:00.6 for 98th place. Caden Blackman (26:21.2), Patterson Graham (26:50.9), Gavan Baxley (27:06.8), Ethan Newsome (27:37.0) and Bennett Phillips (28:25.2) rounded out Troy's finishers. The men's squad totaled 485 points for 19th overall.
On the women's side, Makenna Calbert once again paced Troy, finishing 110th in the 5.868m with a time of 22:30.9 — her fourth consecutive meet leading the Trojans. Arianna Elder followed at 23:08 to place 136th, while Abigail Carr (24:28.7), Aisley McMeen (24:37.2) and Giulianna Rivero (26:50.1) completed the lineup. The women's team finished 22nd with 625 points.
The Trojans now turn their attention to the Sun Belt Conference Championships, set for Friday, Oct. 31, in Foley, Ala.
