Throwing it in Florida

Thoughts from Coach
Director of track and field Marc Davis gave his thoughts on the opening weekend:
"We had a solid start to the outdoor season. Our throwers had some great overall performances against some of the best in the country. Every event was represented at both USF and USA with a finalist, so it shows they are ready to really compete. There were some big personal bests, and the best is yet to come. There were some very big personal bests in the running and jumping events which is great this early in the season. We have a tough schedule ahead. We have to move one week at a time and not get ahead of ourselves. Trust the process and compete hard."
