Track and Field Returns to FSU for Dick Roberts Seminole Invite

Troy, Ala. – Troy track and field is set to compete at Florida State for the second time this season at the Dick Roberts Seminole Invite in Tallahassee, Fla on April 10-11.
The meet is set to begin on Friday afternoon with then men's hammer throw and women's high jump at 1:30 p.m. The Trojans are set to take the track at 5:05 p.m. in the women's 4x100 relay, followed by the men at 5:10 p.m.
Troy competed at FSU earlier this season at the Terry Long FSU Relays, where they collected four first place finishes. Aaliyah Murphy set a new program record in the women's 400-meter hurdles in 59.17 en route to first place.
Murphy was also a part of the quartet of Rachel Whyte, Jasmine Jimenez and Haley Wilson that won the women's 4x400 in 3:41.99. Faith Jones also ran 13.66 to win the women's 100-meter hurdles.
On the men's side, Ethan Forbes won the 800 in 1:50.21, while Jonas Koturenka followed closely behind in second in 1:50.74.
