TROY, Ala. – Fresh off a new national ranking, No. 62 Troy swept a doubleheader on Tuesday at the Lunsford Tennis Complex, defeating Point, 7-0, and William Carey, 6-1.

Mario Martinez Serrano continued his remarkable start to the season, winning both his matches, improving to 13-0 on the year on court one, including a pair of ranked wins over the last nine days.

Troy (11-2) won the doubles point in both matches, moving to 25-1 the last two seasons when clinching the first point of the match. Additionally, the Trojans won on 11-of-12 singles courts across the two matches to improve to 56-16 in dual match singles.

In addition to Martinez's long winning streak, Luciana Alcocer and Benjamin Ambrosio both ran win streaks to out three matches, coming off Troy's victory at No. 53 South Florida over the weekend.

Troy hosts Alabama A&M on Saturday at noon.
