Troy Cross Country Concludes Regular Season in Tuscaloosa

TROY, Ala. – Troy cross country travels up to Tuscaloosa, Ala. for the Alabama Crimson Classic on Friday, Oct. 13, looking to finish the regular season on a strong note.
The meet starts at 8:30 a.m. with the men's 8K, followed by the women's 6K at 9:20 a.m. The awards ceremony concludes the meet at 10 a.m. at the Harry Pritchett Running Park.

The Trojans enter off an impressive first-place victory for the men and women at the Huntingdon 6k/8k over Birmingham-Southern, Stillman and Huntingdon.
Senior Cadi Rowe enters after her first career individual victory, outpacing the field at 23:51.60 in the 6k. Five Trojans followed her to sweep the top six: Lucy Turley, Makenna Calbert, Giulianna Rivero, Rhema Taylor and Aisley McMeen.
The men were paced by Keith Warner, who claimed silver, crossing the stripe at 27:07.00. Tyler Baker rounded out the podium with a third-place finish at 27:48.10. Overall, the men totaled 26 points to defeat the field by 24 points.
