TROY, Ala. – Before the Trojans take the field on February 17th to start the 2023 season, head coach Skylar Meade and his wife Jesse are set to host the inaugural Troy Baseball Women's clinic Friday, February 3rd from 6 to 8:15 p.m. Troy Regional Medical Center will serve as the presenting sponsor for this exciting evening that will begin in the Stadium Club of Veterans Memorial Stadium before moving to activities held on the field at Riddle-Pace Field.
"Jess and I are so excited for this inaugural Women's clinic," Meade said. "Here at Troy, just like most programs in the country, the female fan base is the lifeblood of our support. Providing some behind-the-scenes action to some of our biggest fans will be great. Make sure you secure your spot soon for this unforgettable night with the Trojans."
Participants will be able to partake in numerous baseball activities, including pitching, hitting, defensive instruction, photo shoots in the Trojan's game uniforms, getting a behind-the-scenes look at the weight room, and learning about the technology used during the game. Ladies partaking in the evening will learn directly from the Troy Baseball coaches and student-athletes.
The cost of registration is $30 per person, and all participants will receive a commemorative t-shirt. Registration and refreshments will begin at 6 p.m. in the Stadium Club (4th Floor of the Veterans Memorial Stadium Tower).
