HOOVER, Ala. – ShaeLee Scarberry fired her second straight round in the red with a 2-under 70 to lead Troy in Tuesday's final round of the Hoover Invite hosted by UAB at the Heatherwood Golf and Country Club. Scarberry finished second on the individual leaderboard, and Troy took home a third place finish as a team.

Scarberry finished 2-under for the tournament after firing a 1-under 71 in Sunday's second round. She closed out the tournament with nine birdies and 39 pars; her par total was the second-best in the field, while only carding six holes over par in the three rounds. Her Tuesday round featured four birdies and just a pair of bogeys.

Troy shot 10-over as a team in the final round and finished just two shots behind South Alabama for second place, while Florida Atlantic was 10 shots better than the Jags to win the team title.

Elizabeth Caldarelli continued her strong start to the season with a 14^th-place finish at 8-over for the week. She shot 1-over in Tuesday's third round with four birdies on her card; she finished the tournament with a team-best 10 birdies.

Elisabeth Preus shot 7-over on Tuesday to finished tied for 20^th place overall, while Alyssa Mercado and Anna Claire Little tied for 40^th place.
