Troy Athletics Announces Promotions for Samford, Southern Miss Games

TROY, Ala. – Troy Athletics and Troy baseball are excited to announce special events surrounding the Cox Diamond Invitational in Pensacola, Fla., and Troy's March 10 contest against Southern Miss at Riverwalk Stadium in Montgomery, Ala.
Cox Diamond Invitational, Pensacola, Fla. – Saturday, March 7 vs. Samford (11 a.m.)
The first 100 Troy fans for the Trojans' March 7 contest against Samford at the Cox Diamond Invitational will receive a free ticket courtesy of the Troy University Alumni Association. Tickets may be picked up outside of Blue Wahoos Stadium beginning at 9:30 a.m.
All Troy fans are invited to join Troy Athletics and the Troy University Alumni Association on the patio on the third base side.
A reception will take place following the game with refreshments provided by the Troy University Alumni Association where fans will be treated to a program featuring Director of Athletics Brent Jones, head baseball coach Mark Smartt and several other Troy Athletics and Alumni Association staff members.
Additional games throughout the weekend for the Pensacola Cox Diamond Invitational include Friday, March 6, at 6 p.m. vs. Michigan State and Sunday, March 8, at 3 p.m. vs. Louisiana. Single-day and weekend passes are now on sale through the Blue Wahoos Ticket Office.
Riverwalk Classic, Montgomery, Ala. – Tuesday, March 10 vs Southern Miss (6 p.m.)
Troy hosts regional rival Southern Miss at Montgomery's Riverwalk Stadium March 10 and tickets are now on sale through the Montgomery Biscuits Ticket Office.
As part of the event, Troy Athletics will host a pregame social at the Club Car Bar from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Fans will have the opportunity to hear from Director of Athletics Brent Jones, head football coach Chip Lindsey, head volleyball coach Josh Lauer and head women's soccer coach Ged O'Connor.
Several exciting in-game promotions will take place providing fans the opportunity to win prizes courtesy of Troy Athletics and our sponsors.
