Women's Basketball Announces Full 2020-21 Schedule

TROY, Ala. – The Troy women's basketball team announced its completed scheduled for the 2020-21 season Thursday afternoon. The newly released non-conference schedule features seven games, one SEC power and one tournament.
The Trojans will open the season with a pair of games in Hattiesburg, Miss. against Southeastern Louisiana and Alabama A&M as part of the Lady Eagle Thanksgiving Classic. This will be Troy's second appearance in the event, first since 2018-19 when former Trojan Japonica James was named the Classics' MVP.
Troy will make its 2020-21 Trojan Arena debut on Dec. 6 when they host Florida A&M at 2 p.m. followed by a game against Chattanooga at noon on Dec. 9. Since the 2017-18 season the Trojans have posted a 35-5 record at home and are currently on a 6-game home winning streak. Their 6-game home winning streak is three shy of tying the program record of nine set between the 2017-18 and 2018-19 seasons.
For the second consecutive year Troy will make a trip to Starkvegas to take on No. 6 Mississippi State on Dec. 14. Last season the Trojans scored 82-points against the eighth ranked Bulldogs, the third-most points scored against MSU since the 2016-17 season.
The Trojans will round out their non-conference schedule with a road game against Middle Tennessee State on Dec. 17 and a home contest on Dec. 20 against Martin Methodist.
Following its seven non-conference games the Trojans will begin Sun Belt Conference play. This season the Trojans will play an 18-game divisional conference schedule. You can read more about the conference schedule by clicking HERE.
