TROY, Ala. – The Troy Men's and Women's Basketball programs have announced the inaugural Trojan Basketball Tipoff Banquet that will be held Friday, Nov. 20, inside Trojan Arena. The event begins at 7 p.m. and includes dinner, drinks, player introductions, a Q & A with head coaches Scott Cross and Chanda Rigby, silent auction and raffle prizes.
"This banquet will be a great way to showcase our incredible basketball teams," women's basketball head coach Chanda Rigby said. "We're grateful for these new and creative ways to provide support for Troy Basketball. I appreciate (Athletics Director) Brent Jones for continuing to find creative ways for Troy Athletics to not only survive, but to also thrive during this pandemic."
Those wishing to attend the banquet can purchase individual tickets for $75 or a full table (six seats) for $450. There will also be sponsorship opportunities available for $1,000. A sponsorship will include a full table with recognition at event as well as on event communication pieces.
"We're really excited about the basketball tipoff party," men's basketball head coach Scott Cross said. "It's a great opportunity for our guys to meet some of the biggest supporters of our program and it's an opportunity to celebrate and start the season the right way. This will help us continue to grow and establish our relationship with our biggest fans, supporters and alumni of the program. We're really looking forward to it and we cannot wait to get it started."
To purchase your tickets, please visit TroyTrojans.com/Tipoff or contact Chase Blake via email at blakec@troy.edu or by phone at 910-690-5466. All proceeds from the banquet will be shared between the two programs.
