Women’s Golf Heads to Memphis Intercollegiate

TROY, Alabama – The Troy women's golf team heads to the Ridgeway Country Club for the Memphis Intercollegiate on Monday and Tuesday.
The Trojans are looking to bounce back from a disappointing performance their last time out following a record-setting performance in the spring opener. Troy finished third in the spring opener with the best individual and team rounds in school history but slipped to an 11th-place finish its last time out.
Nicole Lorup led the Trojans at the Hawkeye-El Tigre Invitational, her fifth top finish in seven team events this year. The Troy freshman leads the squad with a 74.14 stroke average and 2.43 score vs. par on the year.
Sarah Harrison will go out first for the Trojans and holds the second-best stroke average of the year with a 75.27 mark on the year, including a school-record 6-under 65 in the opener of the spring. Bianca Lohbauer is close behind Harrison with a 75.23 mark for the year with a pair of rounds under par.
Head coach Randy Keck will return to his lineup from the spring opener as Anna Claire Little and Judith Castro will fill out the final two spots. Little tied for 14that the Spring Break Shootout with a 5-over 218 while Castro was just 5-over following two rounds.
