Winning Ways Continue As Troy Picks Up Fourth-Straight

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C.– Spring break has gone as planed for Troy men's tennis as the Trojans pulled off a fourth-straight win after knocking off conference foe Coastal Carolina on Friday.
In the current winning streak—all of which have been on the road—the Trojans (9-8) have not allowed more than one point to the opposition and have shutout both UNC-Greensboro and Presbyterian in consecutive matches.
After winning each set on Thursday, Troy had a tougher time dispatching Coastal Carolina (6-7) as the Trojans needed three sets in all three singles matches to pick up the clinching points.
Pelayo Antuna rallied after losing 2-6 in the first set by winning set two 6-3 and dominating the clinching set with a 6-0 win. Jiaqi Duan won his first and third sets by a score of 6-3 to pick up his eighth win in the dual season.
The doubles point was won by identical scores of 6-3 as the consistent doubles pairings of Oskar Michalek and Mustapha Belcora won as well as Antuna and Duan.
