TROY, Alabama – The Troy women's basketball team opens its home schedule against Samford on Monday at 6 p.m.
The Trojans are 42-10 over the last four seasons at Trojan Arena, including an 11-1 mark at home last season. Troy averaged 89.9 points in its home arena in 2017-18 and posted a +20.0 scoring margin.
Troy will be looking to redeem a pair of losses to Samford last season. The Bulldogs took matchups on their home floor in Birmingham as well as a neutral site contest in the Tulane Classic.

Samford (1-1) picked up its first win of the season on Thursday with a 71-54 victory over Rhodes College. Junior guard Paige Serup scored a career-high 19 points on 6-of-9 shooting from the floor, including 5-of-8 from three-point range.
The Bulldogs fell in their season opener to UT Martin, 89-68. Katie Allen led the Bulldogs with 14 points, but Samford trailed for the vast majority of the game and couldn't rally.

• Amber Rivers has scored in double figures in 27 of her last 33 games.
• Sky'Lynn Holmes has led the team in rebounds 17 times in 32 games as a Trojan.
• After leading the nation with 21 offensive rebounds per game last season, Troy hauled in 21 on Tuesday against Florida State.
