Fourth Annual Basketball and Brushes Returns for Oct. 13

TROY, Ala. – Before the 2026-27 Troy women's basketball season tips off, the team is excited to announce that the fourth annual Basketball and Brushes event will be held Oct. 13 from 6-8 p.m. in Trojan Arena.
"Basketball and Brushes has become one of our greatest events for fun interaction with our fans," head coach Chanda Rigby said. "We hope that as many Trojans as possible will mark their calendars for October 13 and join us for one of the best events of the year."
Basketball and Brushes is a special event hosted by the Troy women's basketball team that brings fans up close and personal with the coaches and players of the 2026-27 roster. They will get to meet 10 newcomers and reconnect with the team's three returners. Fans in attendance will get to mingle with the players and coaches, followed by an instructor-led painting session. There will also be multiple vendors, giveaways, a buffet table, drinks and a photo booth for all attendees. The night culminates with a group picture with your painting.
Individual tickets are $75. Sponsorship opportunities are also available for $500 and $1,000. The $500 package includes four tickets and signage displayed at the event, while the $1,000 option includes eight tickets, signage, guest coaching passes and tickets to a selected home game. All proceeds go directly to the Troy women's basketball program.
