Troy Set for Roberta Alison Fall Classic

TROY, Alabama – The Troy women's tennis team returns to action on Friday in the Roberta Alison Fall Classic hosted by the University of Alabama.
The two-day event kicks off at 9 a.m. on Friday and concludes Saturday afternoon. Matea Mihaljevic opens play against Melina Lyubomirova of Western Michigan, Tingting Pei takes on Indiana's Michelle McKamey, Chunxi Guo is matched up with Somer Henry also of Indiana, Celia Montero Estevan battles UT Martin's Jemima Potter and Maria Casas Blas is matched up against UT Martin's Daphane Pratt.
In doubles action, Pei and Casas Blas face Barnickel and Lieberman of Air Force, Montero and Guo play Mizuki and Pratt of UT Martin, while Mihaljevic pairs up with Leslie Soto Bustamante of South Alabama to take on Samford's Deltrame and Kildguff.
The Trojans are back in action after taking last weekend off. Estevan led Troy two week ago in the ITA Regionals quarterfinals in Oxford, Miss., but was defeated.
