Doubles Teams Shine in Roberta Alison Fall Classic

TUSCALOOSA, Alabama – The double duo of Celia Montero Estevan and Chunxi Guo advanced to the semifinals of the Mari Muller Double Draw on Friday in the Roberta Alison Fall Classic.

Estevan and Guo defeated UT Martin's Mizuki and Pratt and will now take on Western Michigan's Lyubomirova and Tjon-A-Joe for a spot in the finals. Matea Mihaljevic team up with Leslie Soto Bustamante to knock off Samford's Beltrame and Kilduff in doubles action to advance to the semifinals as well.

Mihalejevic, Estevan, and Maria Casas Blas all won their opening round singles matches, but fell in the semis. All three will play consolation matches on Saturday.
