TROY, Alabama – For the first time in program history, the Troy soccer team will host a ranked opponent at the Troy Soccer Complex on Wednesday as No. 16 Florida State visits for a 2 p.m. kickoff.

The game between the teams was originally scheduled for Tuesday in Tallahassee but was rescheduled and relocated due to Hurricane Irma.

Troy (2-4-2) is coming off a 1-1 draw at Louisiana Tech on Friday. Kiersten Edlund scored her first goal of the season in the 87th minute to help the Trojans salvage a tie. The Seminoles (4-1) last played on Sept. 3 when the team defeated Kentucky, 4-0, in Tallahassee. FSU's game at Florida on Sept. 8 was cancelled.
