Lohbauer Finishes Fourth, Troy Fifth at 3M Augusta Invitational

Final Results
AUGUSTA, Georgia – Sophomore Bianca Lohbauer fired a 2-under 70 in the final round of the 3M Augusta Invitational at the Forest Hills Golf Club on Sunday. Lohbauer finished in fourth place individually, while Troy climbed two spots into fifth in the field that featured 11 teams in the top 100 nationally.
Lohbauer had five birdies on the day for her first round under par of the season; she had rounds of 1-over and even par coming into Sunday's final round. Her fourth-place finish is Troy's fourth top-five finish of the season and the fourth top-10 finish in Lohbauer's career.
Fátima Fernández Cano picked up her third top-five finish of the season as she tied for fifth place overall after four birdies on the day. Cano shot 1-over in the final round and 3-over for the tournament. Gabi Oubre' turned in another solid performance with her third straight top-25 finish as she tied for 18th place after shooting a 6-over in the final round and 8-over for the weekend.
No. 23 Purdue claimed the team title by four shots over No. 33 Tennessee, while No. 45 Memphis took third. Troy picked up victories over No. 70 Ole Miss by 14 shots and Sun Belt foe No. 65 Coastal Carolina by 39 shots.
Becca Horner carded her best round of the weekend with a 4-over 76 to finished 57th overall, while Bria Jansen shot an 82 to finish tied for 67th.
Troy's busy spring schedule on March 27-28 at the Henssler Financial Intercollegiate hosted by Kennesaw State.
