Women’s Golf Heads to Henssler Financial Intercollegiate

TROY, Alabama – Coming off a fifth-place finish against a solid field at the 3M Augusta Invitational, the Troy women's golf team will once again face a field loaded with top-100 teams at the Henssler Financial Intercollegiate on Monday and Tuesday.
The Trojans climbed inside the top 100 themselves after their performance at last weekend's tournament as they check in 91st nationally. The field this week features five teams inside the top-50, including No. 13 Kent State, and six others in the top 100.
Sophomore Bianca Lohbauer led the Trojans last week as she finished fourth overall with a 1-under 216 for her fourth career top-10 finish. She enters the Henssler Financial Intercollegiate with a +3.67 score vs. par on the season and has played five of her last eight rounds within two strokes of par.
Senior Fátima Fernández Cano leads the Trojans with a +1.61 score vs. par average on the season and with three rounds under par, while Gabi Oubre' checks in with a +4.33 score vs. par – Oubre' has played five of her last seven rounds within three strokes of par.
Becca Horner enters the week with a +4.78 score vs. par, while Bria Jansen has posted a +10.56 over her nine rounds this season. Lindsey Harrison (+7.25) will play as an individual for the Trojans with 12 rounds under her belt this season.
T-Time
Teams will play in foursomes during the opening two rounds. Troy will be pared with Chattanooga, Virginia Tech and Southern Miss and with the shotgun start the first grouping will tee off on No. 10 beginning at 8 a.m. (CT).
