Women’s Golf Wraps Play at Palmetto Intercollegiate

Final Results
KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. – The Troy women's golf team finished in a tie for 16th place at the Palmetto Intercollegiate which wrapped play Tuesday at the Turtle Point Golf Club. Eva Fabricius-Bjerre led the Trojans for the second straight round, while Sarah Harrison and Lindsey Harrison led Troy overall for the tournament.
Fabricius-Bjerre opened her round on the 14th hole due to the shotgun start and dropped in a birdie to get the day rolling. She added another birdie on the par-4 11th to close out her round with a 4-over 76 and a tie for 63rd place overall.
Sarah Harrison and Lindsey Harrison tied for 59th place overall after shooting an 8-over and 7-over, respectively, in Tuesday's final round. Sarah Harrison had a pair of birdies in her round, while Lindsey Harrison carded 12 pars and avoided a large number in the round. Antonia Poate finished in 78th place for the Trojans after shooting 11-over on the day and Bianca Lohbauer finished 83rd overall following a 9-over on Tuesday.
Ole Miss rallied past Kennesaw State to win the team title by eight shots, while Ole Miss' Diane Lim took home individual medalist honors.

"I thought they battled hard today, and I felt like we got better today. They had a good attitude, and we understand that it's a marathon and not a sprint. We've got some good things going on right now, and I know the scores don't reflect that, but we're going to be a good team come spring time."
