Troy Heads For Final Regular Season Meet

TUSCALOOSA, ALABAMA – Troy will head off for the final regular season meet of the year in the Alabama Crimson Classic Cross Country Invitational on Friday.
The race will begin at 9 a.m. with the men's 8,000 meter race and will be followed with the women's 6,000 meter race at 9:45 a.m. Live meet results will be provided by Prime Time Timing.
This will be the final preparation for both teams before heading off to Boone, N.C. for this year's Sun Belt Conference Championships. It won't be the first time each team has seen Alabama as the two teams met in the JSU Struts Season Opener.
In that meet, the men's team finished one spot ahead in second place and the women finished one spot behind in third place, though the Crimson Tide rested some of their runners.
The Trojans will be up against some of the premiere teams in the nation as Georgia Tech, Auburn, Oklahoma, Vanderbilt and LSU will be racing as well as Sun Belt competitors UT Arlington and South Alabama.
