Troy Soccer Ends Three Game Stretch at Alabama State on Tuesday

TROY, Alabama – The Troy soccer team wraps up a three-game stretch over five days with a game on the road at Alabama State on Tuesday night at 7 p.m.

Troy (1-1) enters the match coming off a 1-0 loss on the road at Alabama on Sunday night. The two teams were scoreless until the 77th minute when the Crimson Tide found the back of the net from five yards out for the go-ahead goal.

Abby Reynolds has the two lone goals on the season with Kirsten Rendall and Brooke McKee assisting on the two goals.

Alissa Jones leads the team with nine shots on the season and four of them on target. Goalkeeper Mikki Lewis has six saves on the season and one shutout.

Alabama State (0-1) lost to Georgia State, 5-0, in its home opener on Friday night. The Hornets finished 11-10 last season with a 7-3 finish in conference play.
