Troy Hosts UL Lafayette on Saturday

TROY, Alabama – The Troy women's tennis team will host its first Sun Belt match of the season on Saturday when UL Lafayette visits the Lunsford Tennis Complex for an 11 a.m. match.
Troy (4-4, 0-0) is coming off of a pair of wins at the Troy Trojans Jamboree last weekend. Troy opened the weekend with a 4-3 win over Nicholls before shutting out Alabama A&M, 7-0.
The Trojans are led in singles play by Trang Huynh and Sanae Ohta who have split time at No. 1 and No. 2 in the lineup, both posting 5-3 records on the season. In doubles play, Huynh and Anja Cosovic are 6-1 on the season with the lone loss coming at No. 28 Auburn.
UL Lafayette (3-4, 0-0) will also be playing its first Sun Belt match. The Ragin' Cajuns went 1-2 last weekend with a win over Jackson State sandwiched between losses to Southern Miss and New Orleans.
Troy defeated UL Lafayette last season, 4-3, in a neutral court match in Mobile, Ala. That win was part of a seven-match winning streak for the Trojans.
