Moreno, Samaha Fall in Third Round, Ending Troy’s Run at ITA All-American

TULSA, Oklahoma – Pablo Moreno and Giovani Samaha lost in the third round of the doubles qualifying draw at the Saint Francis Health System ITA Men's All-American Championships on Wednesday, ending Troy's run at the prestigious tournament.
The Troy duo cruised through the first set against Charlotte's Vikran Hundal and Jordi Massalle Ferrer, but the rest of the match was a grind in which the 49ers outlasted the Trojans, 2-6, 7-5, 1-0 (7).
The loss for Moreno and Samaha comes just a day after the pair knocked off the No. 27 team in the nation, beating Texas A&M's Oscar Janglin and Shane Vinsant in the second round.
The Trojans return to the court on Friday when they begin play at the Mercer Gridiron Classic. Complete results from all of Troy's matches at this week's ITA All-American Championships are below.
