Women's Tennis Opens Season with Pair on Road

DeLAND, Florida - The Troy women's tennis team opens its 2015 spring season with a pair of road matches the weekend. The Trojans first travel to Stetson for an 11 a.m. (CST) match on Saturday. Troy will then travel to UCF on Sunday for another 11 a.m. (CST) match.

Troy returns a pair of All-Sun Belt performers from last weekend, including Trang Huynh who was ranked in ITA National Singles rankings during the fall semester. Huynh and her doubles partner, Anja Cosovic, were also ranked in the ITA National Doubles rankings in the fall.

Freshman Sanae Ohta made quite an impact in the fall and enters the spring as the 17^th-ranked singles player in the ITA Southern Region rankings. Ohta advanced to the round of 16 at the ITA Southern Regional Championships in the fall.

Stetson will also be opening its season on Saturday. UCF will host Florida Gulf Coast on Friday before hosting Troy on Sunday.
