Trojans Set for Saturday Home Match

TROY, Ala. – The Troy men's tennis team will host just its second home match of the season on Saturday when Xavier (La.) visits the Lunsford Tennis Complex at 1 p.m.

Troy (2-10) has played seven straight matches away from home, but will now play four straight in front of the home crowd. The Trojans are coming off of a 5-2 loss at No. 65 Miami on Wednesday.

Prior to that, the Trojans snapped a five-match losing streak with a 4-3 win over Florida Atlantic on Monday.

Xavier (La.) (4-6) is the ninth-ranked team in the NAIA Coaches' Top 25 Poll. The Gold Rush is coming off of a 2-1 showing at the AUM Invitational last weekend. They have played two other NCAA Division I teams, falling to Nicholls State and UL Lafayette.
