Trojans Host Home Opener Saturday

TROY, Ala. – After six matches on the road, the Troy women's tennis team opens its home schedule on Saturday as Samford visits the Lunsford Tennis Complex for a 12 p.m. match. Admission to all home matches is FREE.
The Trojans will also play on Sunday as they travel to take on UAB at 1 p.m.
Troy (3-3) comes in after a loss at No.60 Auburn on Wednesday. Two of the Trojans three losses have come to ranked opponents as they also fell to No.38 Florida State to open the season.
The Trojans are getting solid play out of two newcomers thus far this spring as Hannah Toro and Anja Cosovic have burst onto the scene.
Toro has posted a 3-2 record at second singles, including a three-match winning streak before having to retire due to injury against Auburn. Cosovic has gone 4-2 in singles play this spring, all at the fourth position.
Samford (4-1) is coming off of a 4-1 win over Jacksonville State on Wednesday. The Bulldogs only loss of the season came at Auburn.
UAB (4-1) is coming off of a 4-3 loss at Middle Tennessee last weekend.
