ORLANDO, Fla. – On a neutral court in Orlando, Fla., the Troy women's tennis team rebounded from Friday's loss to rout Furman, 4-1, on Sunday morning. Included in the victory was a win by Troy's Karoline Grymel over a nationally-ranked opponent.

Troy (3-2) was able to rebound quickly from Friday's loss to UCF by dominating doubles play. Anja Cosovic and Hannah Toro rolled at second doubles, 8-2, while Rosaura Ramirez-Vega and Olivia Brooke Durden did the same at third, 8-3.

After clinching the opening point, Cosovic kept things going with a convincing, 6-0, 6-1, win at fourth singles over Kelly Sullivan. Cosovic, a freshman, is now 4-1 on the season in singles play.

After Furman (1-3) got on the board at fifth singles, Troy's Karoline Grymel ended her early season drought in a big way at first singles to put Troy on the brink of winning the match.

Grymel, who was 0-7 in singles play this spring coming in, took care of Lauren Kline, No.68 in the ITA national singles rankings, in straight sets at first singles, 6-3, 6-2. The match was the fourth against a ranked opponent this spring for Grymel.

Ramirez-Vega clinched the match for Troy with a straight set win at sixth singles, 7-5, 6-2.
