Trojans Compete at USTA/ITA Southern Regional

Friday's Singles Draw - Friday's Doubles Draw

AUBURN, Ala. – The Troy men's tennis team began competition at the USTA/ITA Southern Regional on Thursday, with 10 Trojans competing.

Daniel Bustamante was the lone winner on the day for the Trojans, defeating Vasco Valverde of Southern Miss in the first round, 6-2, 6-1. Bustamante would go on to fall to Becker O'Shaughnessey of Alabama in the second round, 6-1, 6-4.

The Trojans will now compete in the consolation draw starting on Friday.
