Trojans Wrap Up Saturday at Clemson

CLEMSON, S.C. – The Troy women's tennis team played well on Saturday at the Duckworth Fall Classic hosted by Clemson, including a win in a doubles flight.
Candela Munoz Giron and Rosaura Ramirez-Vega started the day off on the right foot for the Trojans with an 8-3 win over a duo from USC-Upstate in the finals of the double third flight.
Three different Trojans took part in the semifinals of their singles flight, with Olivia Brooke Durden winning her match over Zinnia Learnana of Charleston Southern , 6-2, 6-2. Durden will now play in the finals of the seventh singles flight on Sunday at 12 p.m.
The Trojans will also have three players in consolation finals on Sunday as Lyubov Dorofeeva advanced in the third singles flight, Ramirez-Vega advanced in the eighth singles flight and Samya El Hsissen advanced in the ninth singles flight.
Karoline Grymel will play for third place in the first singles flight after a semifinal loss on Saturday while Anja Cosovic will also play for third place in the sixth singles flight after semifinal loss.
